Gridiron DONALD TRUMP Out For The Season

Last year Jordy Nelson went down in the second preseason game and almost immediately Aaron Rodgers among others began a campaign trying to get the preseason cancelled because Nelson was lost for the season in a game that didn't mean anything.

What they didn't take into account was Jordy didn't get hurt by being hit during the game, but just by landing on his leg funny. That injury could have happened at training camp or getting out of bed or just running during a normal day's activities. However, that didn't stop those who have an agenda spouting off about topics while using false facts (sound familiar Trump supporters?) to back it up.

Teddy Bridgewater Dislocates Knee
On Cutdown Day One Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy "Little Hands" Bridgewater suffered a season-ending knee injury eerily similar to what happened to Jordy as far as how it happened. He just went down without being hit. Coach Mike Zimmer specified that the injury was a dislocated knee and a complete tear of the ACL.

My Trumpet Is Really This BIg
Now for those of you haters of all things Bridgewater here's something else you can run with besides his little hands and his little Trumpet. When he went down he was screaming like a little girl and grabbing his left knee. They called an ambulance to take him to the hospital and while there he had to sedated to have the MRI done.

Objects In Pictures Are Bigger Than They Appear Jenn Knows
So it seems besides Trumping in the bedroom according to the little hands faction Bridgewater also can't handle pain. Not a good combination for a pro football player.

The Only Truth Donald J. Has Ever Told
BOO HOO. Anything bad that happens to the Vikings is just fine with me, but in my function as an objective journalist in my day job I will offer some advice to the Vikings, who are stuck with a journeyman Sean Hill and unheralded rookie Joel Stave as the only quarterbacks left.

First, Hill can handle the job if Zimmer decides to be Adrian Peterson exclusive. However, if they want a more balanced attack then they have to try to get Brett Favre out of retirement one more time. OK, I couldn't resist.

Brett Favre Not Quite Ready To Play
There are quarterbacks available. Mark Sanchez (Broncos) and Colin Kaepernick (49ers) will be cut this week. Geno Smith is about as useless as tits on a boar for the Jets and Michael Vick is about the same to anyone. Other quarterbacks with starting experience available are E. J. Manuel (Bills) and Mike Glennon (Bucs).

Coming To The Rescue
WAIT FOR IT. If I were them I would trade or wait for Kaepernick even though he is a Packer killer. He needs a new situation and if he isn't toxic because of National Anthem stance I think he would be the best solution.

If Colin Ain't The One Then I Vote For This Option
WAIT FOR IT AGAIN. With the over-reaction to Jordy's season-ending injury during a preseason game calling for an end to preseason games I would expect a similar over-reaction to the Bridge-Over-Troubled-Waters' injury and a call for the end of practice should be forthcoming. Seems only fair.
