I had my doubts
about all the “glowing” accolades the Packers No. 1 draft pick got from the
local kiss-ass media, especially since none of them on draft day had a thing to
say about the “Buckley Rule”, which Hall of Famer Ron Wolf lived by after he
made the mistake of drafting its namesake and Ted Thompson also followed the
whole time he was Packers Head Honcho until he was forced to share his job with
“Gute” at least in name only.
